1940s Saigon

An old colleague sent me this video of Saigon in 1945. I especially love the old-style cyclos and the prominence of the Áo Dài! Incredible how things have changed since then.

You seem to be enjoying yourself in HCMC. My son and Vietnamese wife live in Hanoi. He first visited Hanoi as a VSO volunteer at KOTO in Hanoi in 2001. He finally settled there in 2009 and works for Animals Asia
